SoD #52 is up!

Remember those thrilling days of yesteryear, when D&D came in a single box?
Those days have returned! One canimagine dangerous dungeons, Wiley Non-Player Characters, and monsters that might just be able to kill your character regardless of your level! Save or Die podcast intends to cover them all, from the first box set of 1974 to the last of the 1990s box sets. If its Dungeons & Dragons and came in a box, they will chat about it!

Aside from maybe Space Ghost and The Herculoids Hannah-Barbera cartoons aren't really suited to fantasy miniatures. Cartoony ≠ Anime.

It's not really "anime," though, is the point I am making.

Warning the above link is a sarcastically linked google image search for the word "anime."

Funny he could do that now as I am not that far away.

Which is why I said it, mate ^^

Alas, Vince can't come over to our house.... :(

His wife is super-allergic to cats so if he ever did she'd make him wear a Hazmat suit or do a full decontamination on him afterward. ;)

So I am curious why so little (if any) coverage of NTRPGCon? I was expecting a lot of "what happened". Details of games you played with old school folks like Frank or or Kask... or anyone else.

I only ask because just the one day I showed up and played with Tim Kask was a pretty enlightening experience for me. Playing under someone with that old style is so different than I am used too.

Was just hoping you guys would go into some details of your experiences and hear about the games you played in and how they went.

Enjoyed the show, glad to hear Chrispy again. Gratz to Michael on taking over host seat!

So will it be Mike, Liz and Glen as the regulars now? I assume FOG and Chrispy will return as guests too? Anybody else on tap to SOD up?

I thought I was a regular host already (I've been on the show for 2 years now) I just some(a lot of)times have to miss it because we start recording at 10am. There was a streak where I was on regularly, and I would like to do that more with our recording schedule.

(I also missed a bunch of shows because I moved and then didn't have my desktop for about another two months)
(It's been rectified now, but it took awhile.)
(I mean, I'd like to make every show in the future, it's an enjoyable part of my weekend and I look forward to it.)
(Is this parentheses joke getting old yet? Personally, the joke of continuous post-scripts getting longer and longer and drawing more attention to the meta-joke of the post-scrip is hilarious, but humour is subjective.)
(But yeah, I've committed a considerable amount of time to the show, I would hardly think of myself as a guest host at this point.)
(More akin to a step-brother the podcast only sees on weekends. Even..though we record on weekends. I guess it's not a perfect metaphor. but "a step-brother the podcast only sees an average of 1.5 times every three to five weeks" is a bit cumbersome.)
(This whole weird joke is still funny to me.)

You've been considered a regular host.
